The Killingworth Library Association is now accepting books in good condition for our next book sale on Saturday, May 9. We are working on using the portable classrooms at the Killingworth Elementary School again, which allows for a much bigger and better organized sale. The February sale at that new spacious location tested out the site and, despite the snow banks making life difficult, we had a very good sale.
We can use recent fiction and non-fiction, summer reads, children’s books, summer project, DIY and gardening books, and books that might have special appeal for the spring occasions: Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and graduation. Please no textbooks or encyclopedias.
This is the time to clean out your bookshelves. (It’s an inside job!)
Books can be left in the Library foyer area. Your donations are greatly appreciated. We look forward to seeing you at our next book sale on Saturday, May 9!
