Tuesday Book Club Title for November

Tuesday, November 10, 1:00 – 2:00 pm.

Join us as we discuss the classic novel 1984 by George Orwell. First published in 1949, it was modeled on Stalinist Russia. Depicting how political, economic, and social frameworks can become malicious and harmful to the people they supposedly serve, it has been a classic and must-read for generations since.

This will most likely be a Zoom meeting, but if the weather is still mild and cooperates on the 10th, it might be held at Parmelee Farm again. If you are interested in joining the group, please email the library at mail@killingworthlibrary.org to receive location updates and necessary Zoom links.

Extra copies of the title are available at the circulation desk.
