The Tuesday Book Club Selection for July

July 13 at 1:00 pm. Join us as we discuss A Woman of No Importance: the Untold Story of the American Spy Who Helped Win World War II by Sonia Purnell. Virginia Hall was sent by the British as a Special Operations Executive Agent to  southern France to lay out critical groundwork there for an organized resistance.  Genevieve Valentine’s review for NPR describes the book as a “compelling biography of a masterful spy and a reminder of what can be done with a few brave people—and a little resistance.”

Extra copies will be available at the circulation desk.

This program is held in the library’s meeting room – newcomers always welcome!
