Take Time to Care for Our Feathered Friends

Tuesday August 11, and Thursday, August 13.  Both sessions start at 10:30 Join us in our final week of Summer Science as we create bird feeders from scratch.

We will learn about backyard birds and their behavior as well as make a tasty treat to bring to the birds that live in our own backyards. (Attention re. nut allergies: please note that the birdseed mix used in this activity may have been exposed to nuts.)

Suitable for middle school ages. Adults must remain with their children during the duration of the event.

PLEASE NOTE: All of our summer programs will be held outside on the library’s grounds. We will be observing social distancing and all attending will be required to wear masks. Multiple sessions are being held for each activity to allow for increased participation, and each registration space allows for multiple family members (adults and children). The library building is closed to the public and restrooms will not be available.
