Sign up now! Reading can be stressful for children who are struggling with it. In the children’s room at the library, we’ve found that reading to a silent furry partner can sometimes help. Sign up for a 15-minute reading slot with licensed therapy dog Turbo, and Sally Sizer, the person at the other end of the leash!
Children in 1st and 2nd grades are eligible. Registration and permission forms must be completed for the child to be alone in the children’s room with the dog and therapy supervisor. 15 minutes sessions, between 6:15pm and 7:15pm, will be offered on Tuesday nights (dates to be determined).
