We’re kicking off the new year with two new creative programming series for adults! If interested, please register, so we know how many people to expect: you can click the titles below to go straight to the sign-up pages.
Seniors Writing
Seniors (60 and over)… Remember learning to ride a bicycle? How about when the training wheels came off? Catching snowflakes on your tongue? For some, meeting your first child or grandchild?
This is a program to reflect on, explore, and write about those memories, with the opportunity to share with the group (or not).
In many cultures, seniors are the elders, the keepers of knowledge. Come share yours!
Writing implements and composition notebooks will be available, but feel free to bring your own.
Space is limited, so please register in advance. This program will be held every Friday on January 10th, 17th, 24th, and 31st. Signing up for the first session will automatically enroll you in all four sessions.
Art for All
Adults and seniors: bring your creative abilities and interests!
This group will focus on an artist and art from a particular period. We’ll share historic facts, to put you in the spirit of the times!
Coloring sheets, collage material, and art supplies are provided – you may also bring in a project you are working on.
No artistic skills necessary, just an interest in expressing yourself.
Space is limited, so please register in advance.
