To celebrate the 100th anniversary of World War I, the display case at the library will feature memorabilia from one man’s experiences toward the end of the conflict.
Sergeant Percy Winslow Eustis served with the U.S. Army from fall of 1918 through spring of 1919. He first stationed with the Argonne Forest Sector in France, then moved to Germany with the 56th Pioneer Infantry.
Visit the library in August to see uniforms, artillery shells, photos, and transcriptions of letters, all saved from the “War to End All Wars”.
