Homeschool Book Club (8 – 10): Felix Powell, Boy Dog

On Tuesday, May 13th at 12:30 – 1:30 p.m., the Homeschool Book Club for 8 – 10 year olds will be discussing Felix Powell, Boy Dog by Erin Entrada Kelly.

Felix Powell is magically transformed from a boy into a dog. He can talk to animals. Just ask his dog, Mary Puppins! They talk all the time. When a mysterious, magical spell turns Felix into a dog, Mary Puppins is amazed. But not as much as Felix! Will his tail ever stop wagging? Will he ever see in full color again? How will he deal with Gumbo, the snobby neighborhood cat? Most importantly, will he ever return to being a regular boy? Perfect for fans of Ivy + Bean, Merci Suárez, and Dory Fantasmagory.

Homeschool students are welcome to sign up with Mrs. Fig. by emailing her at [email protected]. Copies of this book are available at the circulation desk.
