Glimpses of Killingworth History

Tuesday, May 23rd at 7:00pm at the Killingworth Firehouse. As part of the town’s 350th anniversary celebrations, retired HKHS teacher Philip R. Devlin will present a Powerpoint program, “Glimpses of Killingworth History”. The talk will focus primarily on acclaimed writer Hugh Lofting, noted missionary Titus Coan, and renowned mapmaker and ingenious mechanic Abel Buell. If time permits, Mr. Devlin may also discuss a couple of other Killingworth connections that he has researched and written about. The event is free but advance sign up is required. Contact the library to reserve your spot.
