The inaugural meeting of the “Only the Best” book club will be on Tuesday, April 18, 6:30 PM, at the Killingworth Library to discuss “Middlesex” (Pulitzer, NYT Editors’ Choice) by Jeffrey Eugenides.
All books selected for the club have merited Pulitzers, Bookers, Critics Circle awards, or other significant recognition. The title for each month will be chosen at random from a list of over 600 highly-regarded works. Some OTB books may be challenging, uncomfortable, or controversial for various reasons, but discussion should be quite interesting. Meetings will be monthly on third Tuesdays. Everyone is welcome, whether you have read the book or not.

Relatively new to Connecticut, Chris is a retired college teacher and patent lawyer, who sees the club as a great way to revitalize his interest in reading and to make some friends.
