In Our Display Case: Historical Hydropower

Did you know that Killingworth was once home to a variety of water-powered mills? Many of them ~ ironworks, paper mills, and saw mills ~ even gave name to roads in our town. Learn more in this month’s fascinating display case, provided courtesy of the Killingworth Historic Review Committee. Extra handouts of the town’s mill history are available next to the catalog iPad.
