Daniel Dahlstrom is a Connecticut native, was raised in Essex, and worked in the family decorating business for many years; he currently resides in Chester. His work has been accepted into many local juried shows, including the Lyman Allyn Art Museum in New London, Connecticut, held in conjunction with the Lyme Art Association.
He has studied at the prestigious Lyme Art Academy, and with several professional, local artists. Presently, he is working on several pieces for his upcoming exhibits, and you can find commissioned pieces on display at the Water’s Edge Resort in Westbrook, The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station in Haddam, and in private collections. He also works with select interior designers, who follow his expanding body of work.
Dan’s work will be on display at the library for the month of September, and the library will host an informal reception for him on Wednesday, September 16th, from 10:00am to noon.
10% of all sales made during the reception and display will benefit the Killingworth Library Association.
