Mushroom Collecting for the Table

Thursday, November 30th at 7:00pm. Terry Doyle will hold a program on “Mushroom Collecting for the Table” at the Killingworth Library. In his Powerpoint presentation, Dr. Doyle will show the poisonous mushrooms one needs to avoid followed by the mushrooms he has collected in Killingworth and whether they are edible. He will describe the identifying characteristics and types of mushrooms.

Since retirement from the pharmaceutical industry, he has served on several town committees including the Inland Watercourses and Wetlands Commission, the Parmelee Farm Committee and the Energy Committee.
