Wednesday, July 12th at 11:00am. Kids ages 8 and older are invited to meet local author Connie Bombaci and Judea, her service dog. Learn how Connie helps dalmatians overcome the challenges of being born deaf by teaching them American Sign Language. (24% of all dalmatian pups are born deaf in one ear – 10% are born deaf in both ears – and 100% of dalmatians are born with their ears closed!)
