Black Bears in Connecticut

Tuesday, Sept 18, 7:00 pm at the Killingworth Firehouse.  Black Bears in Connecticut is part one of a CT Wildlife series presented by Richard Taylor, Master Wildlife Conservationist from CT DEEP. The first in a series of three programs is Connecticut’s Black Bears on September 18, followed by Coyotes on October 16, and Fishers on November 13. Each discussion, presented by Killingworth Library, will take place at the Firehouse, 331 Route 81 in Killingworth at 7 pm. The Black Bear (Ursus americanus) presentation will focus on the natural history of the black bear and includes habitat, diet, life cycle and advice on living with bears. The events are free but advance sign-up is required.
