A Library Fundraiser: Craftivate personalized, etched wine glasses

wine2The Killingworth Women’s Organization will be hosting its second art class fundraiser for the Killingworth Library. This class is to be held on Friday, April 29th. Keeping with the theme “Arts for Education” all money raised will be donated to the library and earmarked to purchase children’s educational computer programs, starting with “The After School Edge” which contains 65 educational, multi-curricular titles for ages 6-12.

This class comes just in time for Mother’s Day. It is a wine glass etching class. Invite your mom for a fun night out of crafting and creating together, or attend yourself and surprise your mom with the perfect gift: a set of two hand crafted, stemmed wine glasses. This class also makes for a fun date night, or girls night out option. Come join us and support the library!

Our artist for the evening is Amy Stamp of Craftivate: We make it simple. You make it yours.  No experience necessary. We supply everything you need, and Craftivate walks you through it step by step. April 29th, 7pm-9pm, at St. Lawrence Church Hall, 7 Hemlock Dr., Killingworth, CT. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased online at www.craftivatect.com. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be provided. Feel free to bring your own beverage. For more information call Heather at 860-663-2458.
